Q: What is this forum for?
A: This is a forum set up for interactive online adventures called roleplays (abbreviated RP.)
Q: I noticed there were certain character groups, what are the requirements for those?
A: Before you can begin a RP, you must create a character. This character must also be made public to other players and the admins, which is why we require you to post the specifics for each character in the appropriate field. We accept all species, even made-up ones like sergals!
Q: What are the packs and groups for?
A: Packs and groups function as factions of the Mandragoras, and leaders are given administrative capabilities and help keep the peace throughout the boards. Any member is welcome to create a pack or move theirs to this forum, so long as there's space in the area of their choice.
Q: Can I be an admin?
A: The easiest way to be an admin in the Mandragoras is to create a pack or group! Aside from that, we occasionally send invitations to members who have shown maturity and commitment to our group. Generally, "godmod" positions aren't open to the public though.
Q: Who can mate?/with who?/when?
A: We generally delegate this choice to pack leaders, but if you are not a member of a pack, the answer is you may mate with any consenting partner, whenever, to whatever effect. Please keep in mind to keep what you post on here at PG level though, as this site is open to members both young and old.
Q: What is a "special character?"
A: A special character is a character type that only moderators are allowed to use, and only for specific reasons. These include "Group Story" roleplay threads (coordinated by pack/group leaders and admins) and the moderation of general RP's. For instance, if one user was repeatedly harassing another user in extreme manner, to continue the roleplay an admin would intervene in the form of its special character, quickly put down the wrong-doer (typically by maiming their character) and then either block or suspend the user for a few days depending on severity and how many offenses the user has. Special characters are only RARELY used, and admins abusing this privilege by using them out of turn will have their admin abilities stripped.
